The latest single from The Rills is a punky cut called ‘World Leader’. They propel us through a series of driving rhythms that are supported by a playful vocal performance that takes an ironic look at modern politics. “It’s a stab at our modern political figures, the way we digest media and the way voters express their views online,” explains Spencer. The track is accompanied by an equally amusing music video that places the trio in London, where they point fingers at political gatekeepers. It's tongue-in-cheek and lighthearted, but still manages to make a bold point, while demonstrating clear filmmaking talent. Their upcoming EP, Do It Differently is out now.
